Hair Removal Is Not Just For Transsexuals Anymore!
Some people don't consider themselves transsexual so they never really give much thought to eleiminating their facial hair. "
If I never intend to
transition to living fulltime as a women, why should I have my facial hair removed?" The question is a fair one and there are some reasons to consider:
- If passing is important to you, removing your facial hair will help and will help a lot. Sure, if you don't have much hair to begin with, it
won't help as much as it did me, but it will still help some. Without facial hair, you won't need as much make up (like most genetic women). Not only
will your look be more convincing, most likely, you simply will look better
- Removing your facial hair will make you look younger. Everyone, except a child, wants to look younger - even men
- Your face will be more expressive without facial hair. Each hair in your skin acts something like a reinforcement rod that keeps your skin
from moving. Without the hair, the facial skins looks softer and actually is softer
- If you like to take vacations en femme or you attend multi-day conventions where you dress, not having to shave twice a day to avoid razor stuble is a
huge convenience
- Everyone could benefit to having all hair removed from their ears. Similarly, most people a have a few stray hairs on their nose
that should be gone
- An electrolysist can help sculpt your eyebrows so that they look good regardless of which gender you are presenting
Of course, everyone's situation and motives are different...
When I first started with electrolysis, my wife wasn't fully comfortable with me losing my beard but she readily agreed to me removing the hair from
my neck. Even when I had grown beards I never allowed my neck hair to grow. Losing my neck hair was no big deal for either of us. Eventually, my wife
was accepting of me having all of my facial hair removed. Now, people say I look much younger than I did ten years ago. All-in-all, a good deal for
me when I am presenting in either "boy mode" or "girl mode."
